Tree Removal
Here at Upper Hand we take pride in our tree work with either trimming and preserving trees if possible or in most cases a professional is called in order to remove the hazard. We use all up to date rigging systems and practices on site for the safety of us and our customers property.
Stump Removal
We offer stump and root grinding after tree removal. We typically aim to grind six inches below grade, but this can vary with tree species. We will also lay topsoil and grass seed for additional cost.
Brush Chipping
Site cleanup is very important. We can remove all wood and brush from your property. We can also chip brush on-site and leave the mulch for you to use in landscaping and gardening. Our goal is to have your yard back to normal as soon as possible after tree work is complete.
Hedging
Hedging is one of Francis’ personal specialties, and he takes great pride in this service. We will tackle almost any sized hedge in any location. We use proper species knowledge and techniques to remove the correct amount of growth; ensuring that the hedge grows lush and green year after year.
Private Hydro Clearing
We have Certified Utility Arborists (CUA) on hand to clear your private hydro lines. We can identify any trees that might interfere with your lines. We give trees the proper clearance and distance required to protect your assets. Never wait until it is too late.
Specialty Jobs
We do a variety of specialty work, including bolting and emergency storm restoration. We are also able to do remote-access work on several lakes in the Sudbury area.
